We will take a look at Ulysses S. Grant, who was the winning general of the Civil War and a U.S. President for two terms. Grant won the hearts and admiration of the nation when he led the Union Army to victory in the Civil War and the emancipation of 4 million people from slavery. Grant led the nation during Reconstruction where he battled the Ku Klux Klan and made peace with Native Americans. Grant stands in the frontline of great Americans of all-time.
