We will look at the epic saga of the ancient world, known as, The Punic Wars. The three huge wars between Carthage and Rome, rocked and shaped the ancient world for the following centuries. Carthage was the Mediterranean's premier superpower, while Rome was still a developing Republic on the Italian peninsula. By the mid-third century BC, the two nations would clash with one another, where Rome emerged, as undisputed master of the Mediterranean world.
